August 15th~

I had the opportunity to shoot for Nancy Pfeifer with A to Zebra Celebrations for her blog on Ehow.com. She created a party look for Halloween. What a super creative gal she is! This set up makes me so excited for Halloween to get here!
 My girls' favorite part of the shoot was being able to eat all the goodies after we were done shooting!

Boudoir Party~

August 4th~

A great friend of mine booked a boudoir party with a few of her friends. It was a blast! We had an awesome makeup artist Kitty Lee MakeUp who dolled the girls up and the girls brought suitcases full of sexy lingerie and fun props to use. These girls were very creative and very excited.
We stayed at the adorable Marriott Hotel in Scottsdale. It was a perfect backdrop for some gorgeous photos.

A special surprise!

August 1st~
We found out today that we are having a baby BOY!! We are expecting our 3rd precious pumpkin this December. We have 2 beautiful girls and now we get to also enjoy a baby boy in the family!! We are all so very excited (especially daddy ;)

We now get to play with names! He's definitely a kicker, too! He keeps me up all night. But I love every second and can't wait to finally meet him!

July 28-31st Catalina Island~Get Image Ready Trip

Our Get Image Ready team had the honor of heading to Catalina Island to shoot some beautiful clients this month!
We stayed in Dana Point for one night and took a ferry out to the island. And what a small island it was! There are NO cars (because it takes 9 years to get a vehicle permit!) but there were TONS of golf carts and bicycles to travel with. We walked everywhere!! My poor swollen feet didn't do well, but the weather was so beautiful it just didn't matter. We wore sweaters! Ahhh, loved it.
The first day on the island, we got together for a team building meeting and coaching lesson with the awesome Dr. Karen Jacobson. It was such an empowering moment for all of us! I can't wait to see what GIR has in store in the years to come!

July 22nd~Vederre Magazine Shoot with Dawn Powers

Sunday we had a great team of artists get together to shoot an exclusive piece for Vederre Fashion Magazine. Our beautiful model was the very talented musician Dawn Powers, hair was done by our own Glam Squad Shannon Zeluff with Studio 3 Salon and Erica Smith with Classic Cinema Makeup Artistry! My great photog buddy Rizalde Sherwood of Studio World Photography shot with me. It was definitely an interesting and FUN shoot!! We headed out to the Salt River to capture some beautiful backgrounds. The water was gross and the bottom was slimy but it was so worth the "shot". :)

July 19th~Phoenix Fashion Week Model Announcement

Thursday night we met up at The Mint in Scottsdale to hear the much anticipated announcement of Phoenix Fashion Week's Top 40 models for 2012 and to reveal the winners of the headshot challenge!
It was a packed house full of models, photographers, bloggers, family and fashionistas everywhere!! It was standing room only. One by one the models were introduced to the crowd and the excitement was building to hear the female and male winners of the challenge including the winning photographers!

My model, Nick Koester WON the Male headshot challenge!!! Which means I WIN the photographer challenge! Yay!! Very excited, Nick is such a professional at what he does! It was very easy to get a great shot of him. :)

Photographer, Mikel Florman won with his photo of the beautiful Madison Brown!! She's stunning and he did a great job capturing her! :)

My girl, Eva helped keep me on my ladder during shooting. lol Thanks girl!!
