July 26th~Dolce Salon Headshot Challenge-Phx Fashion Week

Four photographers, 40 models, Dolce Salon style team and the Phoenix Fashion Week team all showed up bright and early to prepare for the Headshot Challenge at Dolce Salon in Arrowhead. I shot alongside Rizalde Sherwood, Mikel Florman, & Brian Kincaid. My assistants were Melissa Wiehl & Guia Borromeo. What a fun shoot this was! I was given 7 models, some were nervous and some were used to it, but all of them rocked it! The models were competing against each other in this headshot challenge.

July 23rd~Phoenix Fashion Week Model Search!

Phoenix Fashion Week hung out with a LOT of aspiring models at the vitaminwater Model Search at Axis/Radius night club in Scottsdale on July 23rd. There were hundreds of models all competing for a spot in the top 40 and the title of Model of the Year. What a turnout this event had. The models had the walk, the pose and the threads to prove it. This year definitely has a lot of competition.

 

 

July 17th~Heidi Fit Mommy Make-Over

Heidi Milano of Heidifit.com contacted the Glam Squad to do a shoot for a mommy makeover contest winner with her business. Heidi is an amazing fitness guru! She helped Mary, the contest winner lose 2 pant sizes and guide her into living a healthy lifestyle. Mary looks amazing!! Congrats to Mary and new body! Thank you Heidi for involving us!! What a fun experience. :)

July 17th~Pucker Contest Winner Sneak Peek

15 year old Grace Carlisle was the winner of the Studio 3 Beauty Designs/Style Image Studios Pucker Contest! She had the most votes on her photo we uploaded for the contest. Great job, Grace!
She won a full glamour makeover by Studio 3 Beauty Designs and Classic Cinema Designs aka Glam Squad! She was so excited! Her photo will be displayed in the Pinal County Lifestyles Sept. 11 issue! She's going to be the coolest 15 year old in her class! If I must say so. lol

July 16th~ Style Stalkers Launch Party

Saturday night was the launch party for the StyleStalkersblog.com, headed up by founders Shimeon Mattox and Ketonya Mattox-Bankston and held at the local Arrivederci Restaurant in Ahwatukee. From red carpet arrivals to a super packed fashion show, this event was to be talked about for days after. Great job guys!!

July 14th~RAW Illuminaire Party

Another great artistic event held at the Ghost Lounge in San Carlos Hotel in downtown Phoenix. This was the place to be if you wanted to view live art.  Musicians, photographers, pole dancers and of course fashion were just a few that filled the night. These  RAW artists were handpicked to present their art in these shows.

July 9th~Inhabitantz Fusion Fashion Show

This event which was held at the Sail Inn Bar in Tempe was created by local artist Matt Crux, who wanted to bring together artists of every genre and raise them up! He sure succeeded! Not even a dust storm could stop the excitement everyone had surrounding this local town bar. Guests filled into the bar as they waited for the much anticipated fashion show, showcasing designers such as Asia Muhammad (Krishna & Fatima),
Kristi Felts, Robert Ri’chard & Justina Kerth.
